Personal Biography
I have been a counselor for 13 years, a graduate of Furman University and UNCG. I have spent the last 11 years in my private counseling practice, specializing most in the mental health needs of adolescents (depression, anxiety, eating disorders, family dynamics). I am excited to work for such a wonderful practice and to be back in a team environment. I am most nervous about doing things the "corporate way," after being solo for so long.
I have been married to Jason since 2005 and have two sons, Baker (7.5) and Forrest (4.5). Jason and I are both from Winston-Salem and our families reside here as well. I am an avid athlete - have participated in all kinds of endurance events from marathons to Ironman races to ultra-endurance relays. My husband is a competitive cyclist, so we spend a lot of time at competitions!!
